Heart of Texas Midwives is a home birth midwifery practice serving Austin and central Texas. As midwives we promote physical and emotional wellness during pregnancy & birth and assist with transitions to motherhood & breast feeding. We believe healthy women labor best and birth safely when they feel secure and nurtured. For many women, this is in the privacy of their own home. We serve as guardians through the labor process, assist the woman and her partner in making informed decisions, and help promote a safe and satisfying birth.
